Notes on the development of AI Foresight
28 – SHOULD I BE FLATTERED???
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” – Oscar Wilde
There’s a cottage industry on social media, especially on LinkedIn, of people (or bots) taking the AI Insights from this site, lightly rewording them, and posting the results as their own. No attribution, and no issue on my end. If it helps them advance something they’re working toward, all good. I’m mildly flattered 😉
27 – NON-BUSINESS CONTENT?
Q: Do you create AI Foresight content outside of business topics?
Absolutely. This machine-human circus doesn’t stop at boardrooms. It explores “The Impact of AI on Society,” deep dives into “Foundational AI topics” like “the AI Hierarchy of Needs,” and wanders into whatever else catches my curiosity. I’ll soon share some examples.
26 – MY FAVORITE AI FORESIGHT
My favorite one isn’t even live yet (it’s stuck in the publishing queue). Of the ones out there, this gem stands tall: “AI irrigates business growth, dehydrates waste, and recycles weakness.” Nine words that hit like a lightning bolt, especially when I dropped them on a fellow CEO. That moment? Epic.
25 – OPTIMIST?
Someone called me an “AI optimist” recently. Not quite. I’m an AI realist. I see both the incredible promise and the chaos coming with it. Honestly, I think even my system and I might still be underestimating just how wild this transformation will be. Buckle up.
24 – PUBLISH A BOOK?
Q: Will you publish the collection of AI Foresight as a book?
Probably not. Books age faster than tech hype. Unless I distill it into timeless principles, it would be outdated before it ships. Plus, I already wrote a book once. Box checked.
23 – UGH!!!
Ever argue with AI? I did. The fight was over this: “A power drill cannot build a house. Not even an ‘intelligent’ power drill.” The system hated it. We went back and forth for hours. These human–machine debates are fuel for AI Foresight. That one left both of us smarter.
22 – LONG-FORM AI FORESIGHT?
Yes, longer versions exist. But editing them all is a slog. If you really want one, drop a note at thinkchange.com/contact-us.
21 – ORIGIN
The first “Insight,” the ancestor of AI Foresight, showed up in 2018. Primitive. But the spark was there.
20 – HUMAN-MACHINE HYBRID
Q: What’s a “human–machine hybrid” for creating these Insights?
That’s my secret recipe. Let’s just say, “Man plus machine beats man.”
19 – EXTREME
The stuff I post here? That’s the tame version. The more extreme Foresights are… sharper. Maybe too sharp for the general crowd. Want to peek at one? Send me a note.
18 – PROMOTION
Q: Is this content promoted on social media?
Nope. No hashtags. No likes. No algorithm chasing. Just here.
17 – UPGRADE
Major upgrade! Finished it Sunday. Meet Model 4.1. Let’s see what you can do, my friend. I’ve got questions.
16 – HMMMM
Ever had an AI say “Oh!” to you? Weirdly fascinating moment.
15 – I DARE YOU
Try this: tell a colleague, “AI breaks down competitive barriers faster than most companies can use it to create them.” Watch their face. I tried it on a fellow board member. His reaction was priceless.
14 – SECTOR INSIGHT
Q: Do you create sector-specific AI Foresight?
Yep. But only for industries I’m actually involved with — through investments, boards, or executive roles. No tourists here.
13 – FORUM / DISCUSSION
Q: Will you add comments or Q&A?
Maybe someday. But for now, too much overhead. I’d rather build than babysit a comment section.
12 – SITE TEMPLATE
Site got a facelift. Fresh template installed. Huge thanks to Manoj for the assist.
11 – CONTACT
Want to connect? Use thinkchange.com/contact-us. Simple as that.
10 – LOCATION
Q: Where are you based?
Greater NYC area. Close enough to the madness, far enough to think.
9 – NEXT-GEN
I am now helping to run a $1B, 1,000-person operation (someone asked nicely) and doubling down on AI investments. The use cases I encounter just keep multiplying.
8 – LICENSING
Q: Can this content be licensed?
Nope. Use it freely, just give credit where it’s due.
7 – USE CASES
Added a section on how I actually use AI Foresight. It’s formatted a bit more formally — but only because consistency matters. LINK
6 – MILESTONE
Twenty Insights published! About fifty more waiting in the wings. Late nights, weekends, caffeine. Thinking about adding a “Buy Me a Coffee” link to survive this phase.
5 – THINKCHANGE
Q: Is ThinkChange a company?
No. Just me, my ideas, and a domain.
4 – PERSPECTIVE
The Business of AI vs. the Practice of AI — that’s the real divide. Most people obsess over the tech. I’m focused on the business side: strategy, models, and impact. That’s the gap AI Foresight fills.
3 – ORIGIN
AI Foresight was born in 2020 because I couldn’t find what I needed for my board decks and strategy work. So I built it — with a human–machine tag team.
2 – SHARING
After enough nudges from people who’d seen my work privately, I finally put some of it here. No sales pitch. No funnel. Just sharing what I’ve built about AI’s business impact.
1 – ALIVE!
And we’re live. This site is officially breathing. I’ll drop more content in batches. Probably.
