Notes on the development of AI Foresight
27 – NON-BUSINESS CONTENT? Q: Do you create AI Foresight content outside of business topics? Yes. This model and process generates AI Foresight on: The Impact of AI on Society, Foundational AI topics (e.g., “the AI Hierarchy of Needs”), and other topics. I will share examples in the future.
26 – MY FAVORITE AI FORESIGHT – My favorite AI Foresight isn’t yet on the site (it’s in the publishing queue)! Of those posted, this one stands out: “AI irrigates business growth, dehydrates waste, and recycles weakness.” Just nine words, but with a profound impact, especially when I shared it with a fellow CEO. That was cool.
25 – OPTIMIST? Someone recently asked if I’m an AI optimist, but I wouldn’t describe myself that way. I see myself as an AI realist – someone who recognizes both the promise and the AI-driven disruption ahead. In fact, I suspect my system and I may still be understating just how profoundly AI will transform business. The change is already well underway, and the journey is only getting more extraordinary.
24 – PUBLISH A BOOK? Q: Will you publish the collection of AI Foresight as a book? It is unlikely, given that it would age quickly unless distilled into broad principles. Also, I’ve already published a book, so it’s not a priority or bucket list item for me.
23 – UGH!!! Have you ever wrestled with an AI system? I have. Recently, I argued with AI about this concept: “A power drill cannot build a house. Not even an ‘intelligent’ power drill.” The system did not like that direction. This is one of thousands of human–machine exchanges that fuels the AI Foresight model. It was definitely a growth experience – for the human and the machine!
22 – LONG-FORM AI FORESIGHT? Do longer versions of the AI Foresight perspectives exist? Yes. However, editing them at scale requires too much overhead. If you would like a longer version for a specific AI Foresight, please use the CONTACT page at https://thinkchange.com/contact-us/.
21 – ORIGIN – The first Insight – the precursor to AI Foresight – was created in 2018.
20 – HUMAN-MACHINE HYBRID – Q: What is a “human–machine hybrid” for creating these Insights? That is my secret sauce. Hint: “Man plus machine beats man.”
19 – EXTREME – The AI Foresight items shared here are “down the middle of the fairway.” The more extreme and far-reaching AI Foresights are too blunt for broad distribution. If you’d like an example, send me a note.
18 – PROMOTION – Q: Is this content promoted on social media? No. Here, only.
17 – UPGRADE – Another major upgrade to the AI Foresight system! I finished it on Sunday. Welcome, Model 4.1. I am ready to push you. Oh, the questions I have!
16 – HMMMM – Have you ever had an AI system say “Oh!” to you? A fascinating moment.
15 – I DARE YOU – Tell a colleague , “AI breaks down competitive barriers faster than most companies can use it to create them” [LINK] and watch their reaction. I did this recently with a fellow board member. The reaction and follow-on discussion were priceless.
14 – SECTOR INSIGHT – Q: Do you create sector-specific AI Foresight? Yes, but so far only for sectors where I am directly involved through investments, board participation, and executive roles.
13 – FORUM / DISCUSSION – Q: Will you add comments or Q&A to this site? Maybe someday, but right now that represents too much overhead.
12 – SITE TEMPLATE – A basic template upgrade is complete for this site. Thank you, Manoj, for your help.

7 – USE CASES – I added a section on the website on how I have personally used AI Foresight. You can find it HERE. I chose a more formal format for these slides to maintain consistency.
6 – MILESTONE – 20 Insights published! Late-night and weekend work continues, with approximately 50 more AI Foresights fully produced and now in the production queue. I might even add a “Buy Me a Coffee” link to keep myself motivated (and awake!)
5 – THINKCHANGE – Is ThinkChange a company? No. It is simply a platform for sharing my personally developed content (dba).
4 – PERSPECTIVE – The Business of AI vs. the Practice of AI: perspective is everything. Only a small fraction of knowledge and insight exists on AI’s business side, such as strategies, models, and impact. That gap is why I create AI Foresight.
3 – ORIGIN – In 2020, AI Foresight was born. I needed strategic AI content for board meetings, strategy sessions, and investment activity. When I couldn’t find it, I built it myself using a human–machine hybrid model.
2 – SHARING – After repeated nudges from individuals who had seen AI Foresight content privately, I published a subset of it on this site. There is no commercial agenda or model in place. I am simply sharing what I have developed on the business impact of AI.
1 – ALIVE! I just launched this site to (lightly) share the AI Foresight content I developed. I plan to post additional content in batches. Maybe.
